The opening of Christmas street in Helsinki 2017
The Christmas season traditionally begins in Helsinki with the opening of the Christmas Street, which was taked place this year on Sunday 26 November.
The opening ceremonies include the eagerly anticipated switching on of the Christmas lights along Aleksanterinkatu.
